Members are invited to the SAMLARC Annual Meeting at the Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club at 6PM on Thursday, February 22, 2024. SAMLARC staff will share 2023's greatest successes and what to look forward to this year.
Pursuant to the Bylaws, each year SAMLARC is required to conduct an Annual Meeting of the general membership. This meeting provides the Corporation with the opportunity to share key projects, successes, and information with the Membership, in addition to electing Members to the Board of Directors. At the close of the nomination period for this year’s Board of Directors election, the number of nominees did not exceed the number of director positions to be filled. As such, and in accordance with California Corporations Code section 7522(d), the Corporation can declare that the nominees have been elected. At the January 23, 2024 Board of Directors Meeting, the Board will act on behalf of the Corporation to consider adopting a resolution declaring that the Board candidates have been elected to the SAMLARC Board of Directors until their term concludes in February 2026. Members are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting for information regarding the community’s growth and goals. As in previous years, the State of SAMLARC Address will be presented by SAMLARC management and will include a brief overview of the operations and services SAMLARC provides its Members.
