SAMLARC is a proud partner of our local youth sports leagues and takes pride in providing  welcoming places for teams to develop and compete. Encouraging youth sportsmanship is a key value in SAMLARC’s mission and vision, and it is an integral part of what makes our community special. At the January 27, 2026, Board of Directors meeting, the Board honored the 10U Cowboys Football Team for their outstanding season.

In the sports world, chasing and achieving perfection are both very difficult. In rare instances, however, they can be achieved through hard work and maximum effort. That was the historic accomplishment of the 10U Cowboys during their 2025 season, earning the Orange Bowl title, the 10U D-1 Wescon Championship, and ultimately the 10U D-1 Championship.

This journey for the young athletes started in the hot days of summer, all the way back in June. Under the hot sun, the Cowboys learned discipline, teamwork, and grit, coming together as a strong and unified team. These were the key traits that helped them go undefeated from the start of the season through December.
