Pickleball Resurfacing Project

On May 4, 2026, SAMLARC will start a comprehensive maintenance project at the Altisima pickleball courts. This project reflects SAMLARC’s commitment to maintaining high-quality, safe, and welcoming amenities. The project timeline is anticipated to last approximately three weeks. This project uses industry‑standard methods and premium materials to ensure that the work reflects SAMLARC's long‑term investment in court quality and player experience.

In early May, the courts will be thoroughly power washed to remove dirt, debris, and buildup, ensuring the surface is properly prepared for resurfacing. Cracks and chips will be repaired, and displaced sections will be ground down to create a smoother, more level playing surface. A resurfacer coating material will be applied to the foundation, followed by the two-color court material. Finally, the court lines will be striped to ASBA specifications, and the courts will be allowed to cure. The courts will remain off-limits until the curing period is finished: using them too early can permanently damage the surface.

Work begins Monday, May 4, and is expected to take approximately three weeks. During this time, courts will be partially closed, with temporary rule changes in place to support good sportsmanship. SAMLARC Ambassadors will be on site during normal hours to provide guidance on court usage, project updates, and resident assistance. Following staff directions and respecting closures will ensure that this project is successful – creating a high-quality facility that SAMLARC families can enjoy for years to come.

Thank you for your patience as we work to provide well-maintained facilities!
