Star Spangled Spectacular

Dress up in your 4th of July best, and decorate your bikes, trikes, and scooters before heading to the Beach Club. Uncle Sam will lead the parade around the Lake to the Amphitheater, where ice cold rocket pops will be waiting for all to enjoy!

• The parade will begin at 10 AM - line up as early as 9:30 AM
• Furry friends are welcome to join the fun and must remain on leash at all times
• The parade route follows the path from the Beach Club to the Amphitheater, approximately 0.75 miles
• In alignment with California standards, helmets are recommended for participants under 18
• Unauthorized motorized vehicles are not permitted at the Lakeshore

Join us for a fantastic Beach Club day with DJ music, games, a balloon artist, smokin' hot grills, airbrush tattoo artist, watercraft, and plenty of sun! Activities are open from 11 AM - 6 PM (Beach Club opens at 8 AM).

Due to capacity restrictions, Beach Club access is limited to pre-registered Members and guests only. Access tickets are distributed via lottery.

• Register for the lottery from June 1-7 (online only). Winners will be emailed on June 10 with important information
• Maximum of 8 tickets per household (including guests and infants). Duplicate entries will be removed. Open to SAMLARC Members (and SAMLARC apartment residents) only
• A standby line will be available on July 4th, with any available wristbands released in the afternoon

Take an afternoon stroll around the Lago Santa Margarita! From 5-8 PM, families can enjoy live music at the Amphitheater, photo opps, face painting, and food trucks! At the pine grove on the Lake, families are invited to snap memories at the patriotic photo opp, sport glitter tattoos, get a new crazy hair style, and more! No registration required!

Want to watch the 9 PM fireworks show over the Lake? Save your spot with a picnic blanket or chairs!

• Blanket/chair placement begins at 6 AM on July 3rd
• No plastic tarps or stakes
• Any weights (stones, bricks, sandbags, etc.) must be removed at the end of July 4th
• Items placed earlier than 6 AM on July 3rd will be removed and held for pickup at the Beach Club on July 5th

Calling all singers! The Voice of SAMLARC is looking for talented musicians to sing a capella for a crowd of thousands - just before the July 4th fireworks show! Winners and their immediate families will enjoy premier seating for the fireworks. Auditions will be held on May 27 and 28 from 4:30-5:30 at the Beach Club. 

To audition, please prepare to sing the Francis Scott Key version of the “Star-Spangled Banner” and  Irving Berlin version of “God Bless America." On July 4th, the winner will sing the national anthem, and the runner-up will sing "God Bless America." Auditions will take place on Thursday, June 5th at the Beach Club.
