The SAMLARC Board of Directors held their monthly meeting on June 25, 2024 to discuss projects and initiatives that maintain and enhance the SAMLARC community. The Board acted on the following key items for the stewardship of SAMLARC’s assets and viability:
- Approved the development of the 2025-2027 SAMLARC Board Strategic Plan. This Strategic Plan draws on SAMLARC’s core Vision and Mission Statements to guide projects, initiatives, and events over the course of several years. The Board will consider input from Committees, the onsite FirstService Residential team, and residents to identify key priorities and pursuits.
- Appointed SAMLARC Members Karyn Bower and Barton Ortberg to serve on the Communications Committee, where they will provide insight on fostering an engaged and informed community.
- All items on the Consent Calendar were approved, including approval and/or ratification of a variety of work authorizations for the ongoing maintenance of SAMLARC assets, as well as contracts with professional service providers.
The SAMLARC Board of Directors is committed to preserving the value, desirability, and attractiveness of all properties within SAMLARC. Per Civil Code 4920, the Open Session and Executive Session Agendas for each meeting are officially posted at the SAMLARC Beach Club and Business Offices. The next Board of Directors Meeting will take place on July 23, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club.
