The SAMLARC Board of Directors held their monthly meeting on July 23, 2024, to discuss projects and initiatives that maintain and enhance the SAMLARC community. The Board approved all Consent Calendar items for the stewardship of SAMLARC’s assets and viability, ongoing community maintenance and contracts with professional service providers. Highlights of the July Board Meeting include:
- Approval of an Eagle Scout Request from local Troop 727 to build and furnish three bird nest boxes, to be placed at Monte Vista Park.
- Approval of a contract with The Bee Man Pest Control for year-round treatment services for beehives and wasps on SAMLARC property.
- Approval of a contract with Diamonds Spots Field Services, Inc. for year-round maintenance of SAMLARC’s sports infields.
- Approval of a contract renewal with Solitude Lake Management for maintenance of the Lago Santa Margarita floating islands and underwater aeration compressor system.
- Ratification of a Work Authorization for playground repairs at Tijeras Creek Park.
The SAMLARC Board of Directors is committed to preserving the value, desirability, and attractiveness of all properties within SAMLARC. The Board will next meet on August 13, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club for a Strategic Planning Workshop. The next business meeting of the Board of Directors will take place on August 27, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club. Per Civil Code 4920, the Open Session and Executive Session Agendas for each meeting are officially posted at the SAMLARC Beach Club and Business Offices. Open Session Meetings are open to SAMLARC Members.
