Altisima Park Pickleball Facilities
Pickleball at SAMLARC
SAMLARC is proud to provide Members with many spaces to connect, exercise, and play. Altisima Park offers eight pickleball courts for Members and guests throughout the year. As more Members embrace pickleball, SAMLARC is resourcefully updating its facilities to reflect Member interests. The Pickleball Rules were updated on November 1, 2024 to support a positive and safe playing experience for all.

Pickleball Court Status
Altisima Pickleball Court Project - 2023
In early 2022, the Board of Directors began researching the value of and possible locations for additional pickleball courts in the community. SAMLARC hosted a survey inviting Members' feedback, and also conducted a professional sound study to compare potential noise impacts to the possible locations. Based on the results of the survey, sound study, facility usage, and project costs, the Board determined that Altisima Park is the ideal place to implement additional pickleball courts.
Project Information
From November 27, 2023-early January 2024, SAMLARC service providers will be renovating the tennis and pickleball facilities at Altisima Park. The tennis court will be renovated into 4 additional pickleball courts, for a total of 8 pickleball courts. Additionally, the four existing courts will be reoriented to face north and south (as opposed to their current east-west position). While the project schedule allows for 4 courts to be available for play at a time, please keep SAMLARC's pickleball rules and good sportsmanship in mind. The Board looks forward to playing pickleball alongside SAMLARC Members soon!
